Anyways, I'm digressing.

I was just thinking....do any of you have a flare? If there are other people outside Manhattan, it might be possible to alert them that we are here...but, of course, if no one is around us, it might be all for nothing.

But I'm not giving up hope. Not yet. Somehow, we will find a way out of here.

If people do not have a flare, there's nothing stopping them from making one.

Yes, but how do you make a flare which reaches so high that it can be seen for miles? It has to be made exactly right, or it will explode before it reaches that key point in the atmosphere.

What if there's others, like us? They could be there, all isolated from us...

Just, I'm not a big believer in this "cruel overlords" thing, but if there's other people out there, then I'm ready to take that chance and help them.
